It's not bad
Ellie has a unique voice and I could see where she was going with this album but some of her songs are pretty mediocre. I do like love me like you do honestly.
This album is AMAZING. It's rare to listen to an album in its entirety without feeling the need to skip a song. I think every song on this album could easily be released as a single, and become a number one hit! The more I hear Ellie's voice, the more I love it. Her voice is such a beautiful instrument. I loved this album when it first came out, but I felt the need to come on here and review it after seeing her in concert last week. It made me love the album and her even more than I did, I've been listening to it on repeat since.
This is trash
This is my favorite album ever released. She has such a unique voice and there is a song for every mood. If anyone wonders how she sounds live, I rate her 5 out of 5 cause she sounds amazing! I love Ellie and her music and always have!#1
I miss when musicians had to actually have talent to make it in the industry.
BEST ALBUM OF THE DECADE
This album slayed my life, always loved Ellie but this album took my love to a new extreme, recommend the deluxe version, even though standard is just as great
A enjoyable but way-too-generic POP album.
I love Ellie Goulding, but, this doesn't change anything...
It feels special when I listen to Lights/Bright Lights because the album is unique. You can identify deeply with the songs on it. The same happens with Halcyon, it is enjoyable and relatable and has meaningful songs (Halcyon Days + HD [Deluxe]) are good but not as good as HALCYON).
Delirium is a "happy album" (just as Ellie stated). I enjoy its new sound and production (I even consider it 'special'). I love Pop. The problem is that is very repetitive, and I don't feel emotions when I listen to it. One of the flaws are the lack of lyrical content. The lyrics are old and borrowed... Sometimes, listening to this album feels like listening to another Mainstream Pop album.
My "outstanding-tracks" (favorite) are:
Fifty Shades of Grey worldwide-success single, "Love Me Like You Do". It is memorable and beautiful.
"Don't Panic", because of its 80s-90s sound (I think) and because it's chorus it's not repetitive as much as other tracks.
"Lost and Found", because it sounds like Ellie's previous music and sounds original and soulful.
"Army". I enjoy it because it has the same thing that made me like "LMLYD": a high note on the final chorus (which she never performs live).
Also, it is dedicated to her best friend and I firstly thought it was to her fans. That makes it even more special for her and for me.
Wow! What an album!
My first time reviewing on iTunes, and it’s for a good reason. This album is amazing! Definitely Ellie’s best in her years of singing. I hope more artists start doing the 2-disc combo. That was a great touch by Ellie and her crew.
OMG Ellie's best album yet I can't stop listening to it I love it sooooo much!!!!! 😀❤️🤗
