Garage Songs VIII: The Folk Years
This man is one of the finest crooners of my lifetime. I came up in the mid to late '70s while he was charting a lot and was all over the 5-kilowatt AM country stations of the day, and I was a fan when I was barely in my double digits. Now, I hear him covering Foreigner and Peter, Paul and Mary with that same unmistakable and distinct voice, with just as much fervor as if the songs were his own. He never ceases to disappoint or lose that energy. I highly recommend every album on iTunes along with the many that aren't.
