I used to only listen to rock, but started listening to Louis after hearing Mood Indigo with Duke Ellinton off the Great Summit album. Ella is fantastic, and with Louis coloring with his horn they complement each other so well, its all I want to listen to.

I love the music, the lyrics, Ella and Louis is the best cd. I am more of a pop/hip hop/rock kind, but this cd is timeless. It make me fell in love with it.

This is a great place to start, but search out the 3 disc set that Verve put out a few years back. These tracks were selected from that collection.

If you love the oldies, I do, you'll love this cd. My favorite song is # 1 Lets Call the Whole Thing Off, it has a good meaning to it too. Great feel for # 8 Summertime too.

this cd's pretty sweet i liked anything except jazz untilll i first heard what a wonderful world by louis. 170 times listening to that song later (which is the most on my itunes library by about 75) i looked up some more stuff by louis armstrong, and this is what i got a good, relaxing album that is good to fall asleep to even if you dont like jazz, youll love this cd

I had this cd in real life in the past, but lost it, so i thought this might be a nice substitute. I love the songs, but the quality of the downloads is crappy. The songs sound like they have static in them. For a digital copy of a classic song, the quality is worse than if i had it on vinyl.
