Cracking me up!
Some of the comments about the 'bad' recording are hysterical. Typical of the world of open opinions. This record is AWESOME if you are a fan of the blues.....the vibe, the sound....very few true blues artists are left and the Stones have earned their creds, long long ago. This is the sound they wanted....distorted tubes just like their heroes used, on the guitars, mics, so I am here to say, this is the best damned album they have put out in years and kudos to their producer, Don Was for having the balls to let the tape roll. (I don't think hard drives "roll"...lol
Lame blues. No bite, no feel, too much of Mick’s harmonica. They should’ve brought back Mick Taylor to. Feel like chump for buying this. I love the Stones, but this album blows.

The stones still got it.
Raw and brilliant
They do an amazing job of channeling the power and simplicity of these early blues tunes.
BRIAN JONES IS SMILING THIS TIME!
Reminds me of the old London Record years...this is about as close as you can get to the real! Rolling Stones that included Brian Jones!

Keith can play some nice blues. I just don't hear them primarily as blues. This is a Stones treatment of blues, imo. Good as rock genre. A couple of good tunes. Not quite Exile on Main Street.
