One of my favorite metal albums
As "Cowboys From Hell" represented Pantera's official 'arrival,' "The Great Southern Trendkill" definitely, in my opinion, represents the peak of their catalog. This album had their most mature song writing, most haunting ballads, and incredibly crafted guitar solos from Dimebag Darrell, among other things. Phil's vocals sound absolutely brutal, complemented by screams from Seth Putnam.
I must have listened to this album 100 times, even after I stopped listening to metal primarily. And years later it's been hard to go back to a lot of albums from my youth (looking at you, "Significant Other" by Limp Bizkit!), but I don't even flinch when it comes to this one. It's that good. Still.
RIP Dimebag, and now RIP Vinnie Paul.

I love Pantera, wish they where still around favorite songs are 10's, Floods, and Sucide Note Pt. 1
By I want the original!
Why is the origiginal version not on here? I bought songs from it, but not the whole album, and now i have to buy the whole album again!
Love The Original
This is my favorite Pantera album, but this remastered version is in no way better. It seems to have too much treble and too much lows when the toms are hit. If for some reason you don't have this album yet, go with the original version. You'll thank me later.
