As much as I like said genres, this ain’t Calvin’s thing. Plus the only good songs are “Heatstroke”, “Slide”, “Faking It”, and “Feels”. They at least have a good hook/catchy production. The other songs are just soooo boring. How can anybody listen to an album with so much filler? Calvin’s whole thing was albums that could listen straight thru without skipping (interludes are not songs). The albums overall lack of energy is emphasized by the features lacklustre performances. I mean, Katy Perry and Big Sean both have the ability to do better. I know it because “Roar” and “Bounce Back”. Don’t get me started on Niki Minaj lack of attitude. “Prayers Up” is not the A-Trak and Travis I know, either. Ya Know, if your going to make a collaboration album at least don’t OBLITERATE the feature’s signature style.
This album is fire to date. Holiday, feels, rollin, slide, prayers up, faking it, and esspecially heatstroke are all bangers. Good beats. Frank ocean feature. Also young thug bodies heatstroke. Good vibes. Just great.
I wish the song "Feels" would have a clean version.
I really like the song "Feels", however, I do not care for a certain word that is used in this song. It would be nice if they provided a clean version.

That’s my favorite song!!!
Very underrated sound. Like the features. Only dislike is the 10 songs. Hoping for more on Vol. 2

Very underrated album from 2017, love the new funk, anytime I listen to this album I will always remember the few months after it came out.
Calvin and Frank 👍 Migos 👎
I wish there was a version if this without the Migos.
Top best singer!!

You Guys Hate on this Too Much

Just because iTunes labels this as Dance even though it’s not entirely Dance doesn’t mean you bash on it for something that’s not Calvin’s fault. For god’s sake, DISCO AND NU-DISCO ARE CONSIDERED AS DANCE MUSIC. This is meant to be an 80’s inspired album, that’s why it doesn’t sound like what Calvin made before. And not all disco music needs to have drops.
In terms of this album, I literally love every track here with the exception of “Hard To Love”. The album opens up with “Slide”, a real summer jam with stellar production, and it goes on with “Cash Out” and the piano. Goes on and on. This is an almost-perfect 80’s throwback album in my opinion. 9/10
