This is perhaps the best EP to grace iTunes this year! I am a devoted deadmau5 fan and I have a penchant for classical music...nevertheless, this is music that anybody can appreciate! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏿

First album I’ve downloaded in years, and it left me... the title says it all.. This is in my mind what music should be. Don’t stop here, you’re on to something.

As someone who enjoys film scores, classical music, and other orchestra related productions, this album was a real treat.

Is perfect in almost every way, just one flaw. If at had been countious, it would have been AMAZING. Silence between tracks is the only downfall ..... :(

Mature in approach to original versions. Decision to score without the use of trumpets works great! Also snuck a new song in: monophobia!
  • Made for the Orchestra

A lot of pop music gets arranged for orchestra. But this one is different. It makes sense. Joel’s appreciation of multiple running melodies and sweeping dynamic changes *is made for the symphony*. If you had never know this was electronic music to start, you would simply call it modern classical. But hearing his songs performed in this manner gives them a completely new and wonderful direction and meaning. One can easily imagine these as a movie score, and I hope that Joel pursues that with this music or something new. Bravo to Joel and arranger Gregory Reveret.
