  • OH. MY. GOD.

This is the most horrible collection of music let alone Xmas music I have ever listened to. What has gotten into EC to release this awful dreck? Terrible on so many levels and just plain unlistenable.
  • Well done Mr. Clapton!

I’m John E.K. From Nice Guy Johnny and you’ve been a very big influence on my music career. I love the feel of these songs they flow very nice. The bluesier of them really take me back to your Blue album year ago. We were a Blue band now turned Americana because it’s hard to get work playing the songs I love. This album brings back that love from where I started. Thank You for that. Merry Christmas!! NGJ

I can't say it's the best Clapton or best Christmas music ever, but I am enjoying it well enough. Plenty bluesy on most of the cuts, particularly Christmas Tears, Merry Christmas Baby and Lonesome Christmas. My favorites are Home For the Holidays and Jingle Bells (would you believe?). Enjoy!
  • Bluesy

Love the blues take on these Christmas classics. Reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because a couple of songs really harshed my Christmas mellow: Love at Christmas, for example. A nice thing about digital music is taking out some songs and enjoying the rest.
  • Always a legend

Love this blues take on holiday favorites and originals. Clapton is a staple in our household. Still a rock and blues legend and now a holiday legend. Fantastic twist on Christmas traditional songs!!!
  • Not Your Father's Christmas Album! WHOA

Ok, so first, I am NOT a fan of Christmas albums. Second, I'm wondering if the people who gave this 1 star actually listened to the entire album. This is more Eric Clapton than it is a Christmas album. Yes, there are a few Christmas standards (White Christmas, Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, and Jingle Bells - except wait until you hear THIS version), but there are also songs I am sure you've never heard on a Christmas album before. But the point here is that Slowhand plays the blues and his voice adds a distinct element you won't hear on any other Christmas album. I was skeptical going in, but I believe in Santa now!
  • Truly a beautiful and unique Christmas album

I wasn't sure how Eric Clapton would translate to a Christmas album, but it works really, really well. It's a shut-off-the-lights string of songs that will conjure memories and purpose. Truly great.

Eric Clapton has brought back the real vibe of Christmas. Great memories of times kicking back with my dad who introduced me to blues, jazz, swing, big bands...real and timeless music. Love it!

One of the best Christmas songs ever written.
