Sound quality is terrible. Very compressed and distorted.
  • This Band Had Too Much Coffee

These are great song played way too fast. Did they all drink 100 cups of coffee before they performed. If you want great JP Sousa Music played by the band that is his namesake. Try Sousa's Greatest Hits, Sousa Original, Sousa II, Sousa III and Sousa IV all by the excellent US Marine Band. If you want great music played at the correct tempo by the best military band in the world you won't go wrong with any of these.

The tempo of "Under the Double Eagle" is exactly the same as that taken by the composer, Sousa, in the recording where he himself conducts, listed in iTunes.

This is a German march composed by Carl Teike, not Sousa. Bad performance. bad Bad BAD

Remember, they're marches, not a foot race. While well played, every one of these is too fast, even Pomp and Circumstance. Otherwise it would be a great choice.
  • A great album.

I bought this album to play at my Independence Day fireworks display. All the American classic marches you have been searching for are here in one album. I highly recommend this album they are very good versions to, this is a great band.
