Amazing lyrics,from an amazing artist,I really love this album and Taylor Momtsen is legend in her time.with the respect she pays to legends ,who without,many artists including herself wouldn’t be here.I love it and I love her❤️

I enjoyed reading Taylor’s journey in getting to this point in her life and music. I never heard of “The Pretty Reckless” but glad I was looking at new releases today. I had a meeting about 45 minutes from my home and was able to listen to the entire album on the way there. I’m 65 and could relate to the pain and loss in my own life. Great Album!!!!

I’m old enough to have been a teenager when bands like Blue Oyster Cult were just getting warmed up. You’ll see why I mention them in a moment. Through the pain of losing people she loved, Taylor Momsen has created a sonic masterpiece that veers into the same dark territory that Blue Oyster Cult has lived in since the Seventies. The clean vocals and smooth heavy guitar work just pull you onto the dark road that Taylor has walked, then fire up the motorcycle for a ride into the sunset on the last song, Harley Darling. Altogether an awesome listening experience.

Not sure why they didn’t post my previous review, but I quite love this album! It’s not exactly TPR that I know and love, but considering what the band has been through the last couple of years, I can see why this album is much softer. I don’t care for the country sounding songs, but I love more of their songs than I dislike on this album. I hope after this, they go back to the sound that we all know and love!
