Maroon 5, you’re obviously lost. Here are three words to help you find your way……..Songs About Jane.
How are people reviewing an album that's not out yet?
If that's the case, I'll do it, too.
BTW, Songs About Jane is nearly 20 years old. Great album. Get over it. 20 years is a long time. They have different musical viewpoint now. YOU have different musical viewpoints now. No one should be expected or encouraged to be making the same kind of album 20 years later. I guarantee none of you would like to be forced by "fans" to create the same exact thing for 20 years. Real fans have an open mind.
I'm Losing Hope
Judging off of these two songs, this would be a perfectly acceptable album for a mainstream pop band, but that's not Maroon 5. They used to be a legendary pop-rock band defined by raw energy and intensity delivered primarily through electric guitar and powerful vocals, and now they're not. Don't get me wrong, they're still putting out some great music. Memories was easily their best song in the 2010s, and these songs are decent, but they're trading Maroon 5's best qualities for the sake of fitting into the mainstream. Maybe the rest of the album will change my mind; we'll see.
Maroon 5 are LEGENDS!!
Hit after hit for 20 years!! Beautiful Mistakes is a banger! I can't wait for this album to drop!!
Always sounds the same.
Pure garbage. When are you going to be a ROCK band again? Feel sorry for your guitar player.
What about memories?
Memories should be included, but loving it still!

I understand and appreciate that artists’ sounds evolve over time, but the more time goes on the more Maroon 5 moves away from what made them special to begin with. These single are so generic sounding…honestly…any pop singer could make them. Their spark has been extinguished!
