  • The Little Things are best

    By Avner_Hernandez
It's clear that Chantal is one of the purest songwriters of her generation, I buy this cd just for M, maybe one of the best songs i ever heard, and the atmosphere that the entire album creates it's just wonderful, Chantal invite you to travel to a fragile world when still hope after the bad bad things that we live in our lifes, she is so honest in a few songs, like Souls and M, when she start to make team with her now husband/producer Raine Maida (Our Lady Peace) and fight to have a place in the singer-songwriters world. Maybe she don't have the spotlight but to these people that want something more, the gift it's amazing. Buy it!!!

This is, by far, Chantal's best record. The songwriting, production and musicianship are incredible. Every time I put it on, I get taken away to another place and time with Chantal's amazing voice and lush atmospheric modes. An incredible piece of art, which should have received more commercial success. One of my all time favorite albums.
  • Sweet Chantal

I love this album, it is Chantel's best. She is a great , deep feeling singer - song writer, and this album has a lot feeling of loss and trying to connect with lost loved ones. I had just bought this cd, and was really diggin' it, when 9/11 happenned. Blue, Dear Life, Souls, M and Far Away really spoke to me,and it got me thru some tough times. She has a sweet, angelic quality to her voice that is very soothing. While this is the least "poppy" of her cd's, it is the most listenable one. Buy it, and put on the headphones.
