A holiday classic for anyone!
By Stupidity is the enemy
I remember the good old days... I didn't have to go to school, and I would watch The Rosie O' Donnell show with my mom. So naturally we bought this album, and the one before it. This Was the ONLY thing I would listen to around christmas. My favorites are "Nuttin' For Christmas" and The One by Ricky Martin. If you are a Teen and remember this album, get the songs! It's worth that wonderful feeling of nostalgia!
i hate rosie but...
i hate her but i love ayayay its christmas cuz my crush was singing it to me so i bought it.
Should Be Considered A Classic
Similar to another review, except I was ten when we got it. Unlike "A Rosie Christmas," (which was aweful) every one of these songs is memorable and well done. But I do think it should be catagorized as "Holiday" music rather than "Easy Listening."
Don't bother with "A Rosie Christmas," unless you want to hear Elmo singing "Do You Hear What I hear" or Angelica Pickles singing "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus."
Brings back childhood memories *sniff*!
I've listened to this album every year since I was 7. I'm now fourteen and we STILL do. I love ALL of these songs. My favorite is "Face of Love" and...well...pretty much all of them. This album breaks the "Annoying Christmas Music" stereotype. :)
This song always makes me laugh
Merry Christmas from the Family is HILARIOUS! I wish it didn't have the intro at the beginning of the track (why on earth did they put that mess as the teaser clip?), but the song is great. I like this version better than the original. The Bells of St. Paul and The Prince of Peace are also good, but the rest of the album is not terribly worthwhile. Definitely listen to the clips before you buy the whole album.
Donna Summer sang "Rosie Christmas"...geez!
The Bells of St. Paul
Possibly the most beautiful Christmas song ever...... Love this whole CD!!! Rosie rocks and I wish she would put together another one!
