  • Sewn into the fabric of the 1990’s alternative/grunge

    By Chuck Jeffers
This album was the soundtrack of my life in the fall of 93 and winter of 94. Dolores has such a unique voice that is so soulful and strong. The uniqueness of this album was like a musical awakening for me in my teens. I love all of their music but this will always have a place in my heart. That time of your life when you are young and awakening to new sounds and the world around you. “Linger” is like the anthem of those of us who were on the lighter side of alt/grunge genre. “Dreams” is timeless. “Sunday” is haunting and soulful. This album is moody, expressive, and so very Irish; perfect Autumn music! Thank you Dolores for leaving us these gifts.

Amazing album but sadly overlooked by many people. Has some really good songs if your going through a break but this album is something everyone can love and enjoy.
  • The band of my childhood!

I was first exposed to the Cranberries when I was about 5 years old, not too long after this album came out, and I literally drove my mother crazy listening to this nonstop at home, in the car, you name it. I guess you can say I'm a die hard fan. I have listened to their albums growing up and I never get tired of it. Their music in my opinion has aged quite gracefully in twenty years and I'm proud to be a fan.
  • A great album

I must have listened to this album over a thousand time. A great album all the way through. Ahh the early ninties. Her voice is so haunting, just love this album.

I loved this album when it first came out and now almost 20 years later love it even more. Reminds me of a lazy afternoon growing up in the 90's.
