This is a song that transcends all times of happiness from a time long ago, that I know I can never get back because the person who made my heart happy is someone I can never get back. Good memories of good times that makes me smile yet gives me a cry lump in my throat. The one love that got away. We were young and didn’t know how to communicate effectively with one another all because of a little misunderstanding.

I've loved this song since high school. I'm 55 years old and I still have the original album I bought back when I was in high school. You can't help but feel good when hearing this song...it's timeless!

I perfer this over the newest hits by Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga. Even though I wasn't around when this came out, this makes me feel happy - not on the outside, but the inside, too. It also makes me feel somewheat sad, I can hear this passion in old music that I don't hear in new music - it's probaly just blurred by all that auto-tune.
