Wow this soundtrack takes me back. I would rush home, throw my backpack in the corner, fly over to the tv and put on Disney Afternoon. Disney was really on a roll with their synicated cartoon shows back then. Makes me ask what the heck happened when i occasionally click over to disney channel or disney xd. Though there might be light at the end of the tunnel for this generation with the announcement they are bringing back DuckTales. Time will tell. This soundtrack is a must for any kid of the 80s and early 90s who was a fan of the Disney Afternoon cartoon block.

So many happy memories. Shows like this will never come around again. Nowadays all this seems corny but… its all in good fun. I hope to pass this music on to my nieces and nephews. Love it!!

I grew up with watching the Disney Afternoon when I came back from school. I actually bought this on cassette at the Disney Store and listened to it. Watching the original four cartoons was a joy for any kid. Just the putting this in my library and listening will put a smile on my face. I was hoping during the 90's that they would put music from Darkwing, Aladdin, or Gargoyles (they were good shows) but not so much Bonkers, Timon and Pumba, or Mighty Ducks.

I am 28, and I had this album on cassette when I was a child. This brings back so many memories. To the reviewer upset about the omission of Darkwing Duck, this iTunes album is identical to the original album released on cassette and CD - which was released when Disney Afternoon first started, before Darkwing Duck even existed.

Boy, this album really takes me back. In the mid 90's, I remember going to my grandmothers house for summer breaks with my cousins, and this was the soundtrack to our summer. Even to this day, we still jam out to it.
  • Bring this back Disney!!
