  • From Dixie with Love

I'm not even an Ole Miss fan, I'm an Arkansas fan. However, "From Dixie with Love" is just too patriotic for me to ignore, and this is the only place I could find it. The combination of "Dixie" and the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" unites all parts of the country and, most importantly, worships God at the same time! I love it!

A beautiful rendition of this great, soulful medley. I think it is the most beautiful song played at any college football game, with the band play/singing of the alma maters at the Army-Navy game in second place. I have waited a long time to purchase this, and I'm glad it is now on iTunes. Suggestions for potential enhancement-->make a version available on CD, so I can get the song in lossless AIFF format. This way, I can play it loud and proud. My last suggestion: I don't agree with classifying this as "easy listening". Easy listening is bland, elevator music. This song/rendition gives me chills. If there is a "patriotic" category, this belongs there.

It should be noted it's the Pride of the South and not the Pride of the Southland.
