  • Worth the money

I did the 5k program and then the 10K, now working on the Marathon. This program helped me stay on track. I went fom mostly sedentary and hefty to knocking out a 10K with gas left in the tank. Didn't set any land speed record but, never stopped running that was main goal. This program is defintily worth the money.
  • Will get you close

This was pretty good. I liked not having to watch the pace and have him tell me when to switch. I just finished Week 8 and feel comfortable running 6 miles. The longest run is 60 minutes, so its not "exactly" 10k ready, unless you have a faster pace than a 10-minute mile. To be successful at it, I would suggest you already feel comfortable with running 2-3 miles at the pace you want to run your 10k.
  • Better Preview?

It doesn't help me to hear the same minute and a half of the warm up music. I want to know what the music I'll be running to sounds like before I shell out $10!
  • The Best!!!

Love this program! I am at the end of week 5 and running further and faster than I ever would have on my own. Great music.
  • Great concept. Poor music

Concept is great and has absolutely been helpful. Personally I think the music is awful. What I usually do is listen to the guy tell me what the workout of the day is and then run using my own music. I've only used this on the treadmill where I can pace myself automatically. Seems like it would be harder outside. Overall I like it.

  • Excellent training program for runners of all stages

I was never a runner, and never planned to be, but after a challenge at work I strted with thisprogram and now I run 3 or 4 times a week and love every minute of it. THis program TEACHES you haow to run and how NOT to kill yourself doing it. AWESOME program. I'm a regular 5K and 10K runner now. Lost 45 pounds too!!
  • Perfect

This is perfect for the person who can run maybe 2-3 miles and is stuck in that rut.You know you have to to intervals, speed work, etc, but they are very hard to do alone. This program did exactly what it said. First 2 weeks SUCKED felt so hard, but you improve so quickly, and you know you're doing it right. I finished right on schedule, ran my 10 k and just started the half marathon program. You WILL succeed if you stick to this.

I don't usually review products, but I have to say that I love this program. I'm in week 4 and already feel that I'm running stronger than ever, not to mention longer. My husband is using the 5k program, and he loves it as well. The instructions are clear, and the different runs are challenging but doable. It's a great program!
  • Highly recommended!

Like the other programs from "Personal Running Trainer," this program has techno/dance/house music with voice-over instructions on when to run and when to change pace. It's well done - much better than any others I've found out ther. It helped me stick to a running schedule and I could train at my own intensity and when it fit my schedule. I highly recommend this one!
