  • Terrific Study

    By faithfulmommy
I don't usually review bible studies. I usually just do my studies and go about my business. However, this day is different. I've been in this bible study for a few weeks now and I'm amazed at how much I've learned already. Esther is not the child's version I always thought it was! There is so much about this book that is applicable in today's life and times. For example - the most beautiful women were collected to Susa where they were pampered and the king selected one to make his queen. Um, hello?! We're doing that still today aren't we? Except now it's televised in shows like Momma's Boys and The Bachelor so that we can all watch the drama unfold. Not only have I learned a substantial amount of biblical understanding that I've never known before but I've been brought to my knees a couple of times with convictions that are meant just for me. I'm positive that God has placed me in this study because He has lessons for ME. Maybe he has some for you as well. I hope you try the study and see if it speaks to you.

I love this book. I love Beth Moore. If you have wanted to study the Bible, but it has bored you or you don't understand it, her studies will open your eyes and change your life. I began her studies in 03, and I have more peace and a higher quality of life due in part to her Bible studies.

Hey everyone...I used to be a heathen.... Yep, its I am saved through grace by my best friend Jesus Christ. meant for everyone. I don't feel that it is right calling people "heathens" or even "non-believers" because it is segregating. If you are out there are you are reading this reveiew, know that Jesus Christ loves you whether you like it or not...He came to save you. We have all been so-called "heathens" at some point so we all know how hard it is...and I guess that is why we want to share it with people who don't know Jesus. Knowing Jesus is about a relationship...its not about religion or being good or going to church. It is about knowing the God of our universe and His Son Jesus. Seek truth and you will find it...

I realize that everyone may not share the views of Beth Moore, or feel that Itunes should carry this study, but honestly I am saddened by the lack of maturity that some people display in their comments. If you not serious about this type of entertainment, then do not listen to it. More importantly, if you are criticizing Ms. Moore's work's because you are simply opposed to it being available thru ITunes, then please grow up and refrain from commenting. Personally, I find different forms of music offensive...but I don't sit and attack various artists for their work because I don't agree with it. The beauty of ITunes is that is provides a variety of entertainment for a variety of tastes. Please don't ruin this site for others who enjoy utilizing it with your negativity.
  • Wonderful

I love Beth Moore's studies. She is a great teacher, always giving God the glory and always very humble. Many people don't get it, but one day they will. I feel very blessed that I have Jesus as my savior and I wish everyone the kind of joy that brings. I am glad that itunes has made Christian media available. It is very sad to me that people have made personal attacks within their "reviews", as they have nothing to do with the content. If you are interested in learning more about the Bible, its historical background, and its application to your life, this is for you.

For those of you who are obviously searching (why else would you care about "reviewing" a christian Bible study), I hope you find peace. Beth Moore studies are not about violence, politics or hate, they are about discovering the will of God in our lives. I have done several of her studies and has helped me to deal with difficult times that later came. They are meaningful, uplifting and perhaps if those of you that doubt the relevance of Christianity in modern life would take the time to study what you are critical of, you could address us with understanding rather than ignorance.

Beth Moore has been truly blessed by the Lord with a gift for teaching women. I loved the Daniel study and I can not wait to dive in to Esther. One of my favorite books in the Bible! *Please do not use this as a place to attack Christians, this is for the review of this study only. As it states in the rules: Do not use language that can be constructed as hateful. especially in regards to lifestyle, religion or race. Thank you!
  • Why are they wasting their time?

I will begin this study in January & after hearing these introductions to it I am more excited than ever. God's timing is amazing & this could not have come at a better time in my life. Way to go, Beth! You have truly been led by God to teach & many come to know Christ through these teachings! I just finished Jesus, the One & Only. Again, the timing for me to be in this study during this time of our Nation was amazing. 2 Cor. 4:4 – “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” John 1:12 – “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God”
