  • The Point

After reading a few pans on these albums I guess the title of the album is not blunt enough. These are the Top 15 as requested. These are great if you have the talent to stand behind the decks because you get some good remixes. I give Armin a lot of credit for exposing the world to some of the best producers out there, some that may be overlooked. No brainer buy.
  • So sad I missed his last show...

...but great to download this mix. And the DJ Eco tracks are out of control!
  • Such a Common Dilemna

    By erattanongrata
Put tracks on a "what's recently cool" album c*m glorified Imix and do you put tracks on there that may not be super recent but that you hope ot get wider exposure or do you put tracks that have been popular lately with risk of putting overexposed tracks on the album or do you just put the newest released tracks that seem to be gaining buzz? This album does a decent job of handling that dilemna, but doesn't impress me overall. Some of the songs are good, but this album did not help me find cool new tracks to listen to, which is what I look for in an album or imix. Still, I love Armin Van Buuren I just think hisown stuff might be better by a lot than his own taste in music (or what he releases commercially as his taste)
  • So What?

Yeah quite a few of these I've personally heard a couple of times. But you know what? That's alright with me. You can hear a lot of them on Above and Beyond's Podcast (Trance Around The World With Above and Beyond) like Lost Angeles for instance. (Which is a great song. You should definitely listen to that one at least once.)

A lot of repeat remixs, heard Body Lotion, Man on the Run, Vergatron, Serenade all so many times before, but they are all great tracks
