  • Good

    By Landonwilliams98
Still a great band they still rock 100% one of my favorite bands but they don't sound as good as they did in the 70s RIP Ronny Van Zant :(

    By RNKIM
Of course it ain't the old Skynyrd they are changing with the times! But for me Skynyrd is Skynyrd. Only people who panzie little girls who obsess over Justin Bieber don't know what they are talkin bout and give it one star. Their freakin morons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Nope...

    No...just not even...no
  • Absolutely Terrific

    By Blakeandjake
You know, I gotta tell you that I don't get anyone saying that this isn't "real Skynyrd"... Perhaps it doesnt sound IDENTICAL to the original band, but that's what makes it great. Just like the title says, and everything it implies, Skynyrd was founded on a few basic beliefs: God, guns, American pride, and Southern pride... And this album thouroughly continues that tradition. That's what makes it Skynyrd, and that's what makes it awesome.
  • A timely find in these trying times.

These are the times that try men's souls. Liberty is under assault. Tyranny is in ascension. Thank you God, for letting me find my way to my roots and God & Guns by Lynyrd Skynyrd. "We might as well give up and run if we let 'em take our God & Guns."
  • God and Guns there best yet

    By judge sound not looks
Hope the new cd is as good as this one I think this one is the best the group has ever done but they never dissapoint. Good old southern rock at its finest. If you like this group check out the Tyler McCumber band's Catch Me ( simply the best southern rock cd in years )
  • Long live skynyrd!!

    By PatrickA8
This album is awesome! People want to complain, go listen to your lady gagas. This is great music and it's great to the fans and skynyrd that they keep it alive so we can listen to it. Still unbroken!!!
  • Terrible

    By Burnplant
This is terrible and shouldn't be an LS album. Nothing after "street" should be. The original Skynyrd had complex working class politics, not right wing guns and red white and blue cookie cutter country crap. Boo to people using Ronnie and Allen's band name.
  • Skynyrd!!

    By Bobert the Unwise
Shut up, stop saying that this isn't "the old Skynrd" it is all Lynyrd Skynyrd. Little Brother Johnny has been doing this much longer now than Big Brother Ronnie did, and in this age of artificial music this is nice to hear.
  • Its a Good CD

Before I start I have to say that I was born in the mid 1980's so I am only aware of the "post-crash" Skynyrd. With that being said, the band lost a lot as did Rock music. I did however grow up listening to the "original" Skynyrd wuth my dad from a young age. Throughout the years I have noticed that Classic rock and Country music have been crossing over. With that being said this is a crossover album and I knew that. This whole album is great and I have seen them play some of these songs in person and they play these songs almost like their old classics. This is not the same Skynyrd but the album is not nearly as bad as other people that have reviewed the album have implied.
