  • There Are No Words

    By FaltyThoughts
I’ve been going to my camp for eight years and I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to go back. It has been the best part of my life year after year. I consider there to be no words for how I feel about camp, the people I’ve met at camp, but the last minutes of this, they come pretty close to finding the right words. As soon as I heard from 52:37 on I was sobbing. And in my family there is a harsh divide between camp people in and non-camp people, me being the only one in my immediate family. I especially hope my parents will listen to this so they can understand why I consider camp my home more than the actual home they have raised me in.
  • Camp Doodles changed my life!

What a great program - at times I found myself laughing out loud and other times was near tears. Reminds me of the many years I spent at a little summer camp for kids in California.
  • True to the camps

This is the first episode of the show that I ever heard. It was recorded during the first summer that my daughter attended Lake of the Woods, though she went to the first four week session of the summer and this was recorded during the second. My son began attending Greenwoods a couple of years later. Both now tell me that this show really captures their experiences there. A wonderful episode, highly recommended!
  • I can

I really enjoyed this piece. Laugh out loud funny and touching. I keep playing things over in my mind and wanting to find someone else who listened so I can discuss it. Even if you didn't LIKE camp, it is a great review of this American institution.
