JT at his worst is still the best
By I don even kno
When I first got this album, knowing it was the worst-selling of his career, I had low expectations. With the first listen, it did indeed seem like a piece of garbage. But then, the 2nd and 3rd times through, it hit me how genius this album is. Yes, his guitar playing can not hold a candle to the melodies found on his debut or Sweet Baby James, but listen to songs like Rock and Roll is Music Now or Let it All Fall Down and tell me the messages contained within them are not powerful and moving. The end of the album definitely sees a little fall off in quality, but overall, it ranks with the best nonetheless.
