Came across them first on Pandora from station designed on The Goat Rodeo Sessions by Yo-Yo Ma et al. Awesome sound here. Buy Snowden's Jig as a starter. Love it!
  • Truly Classic

Truly captures pure American roots. Has a great, classic sound that so many modern bands just don't have. Better than any of all the pop music that doesn't require near as much talent as it does to create great bluegrass music.
  • Brilliant, from traditional to new traditions.

This is great listening music and really fun to listen to. It takes real talent to produce this type of music. I hope to see them live in the near future.

An amazing band, great musicianship, honest, pure, wholesome. Anyone who is a knowledgeable, well-informed student of music and history will appreciate this. To play the race card is just absurd. Those who cry racism and bigotry should also decry the hateful language and lyrics of the majority of rap and hip hop music that is available today.

To see these three artists live is a treat. At Bristol Rhythm and Roots festival, they are a fan favorite and they fill every venue when they play the festival. I bought tickets today to see them preform for NPR's Mountain Stage on March 13th at The Paramount Center in Bristol, TN. They are loved by all and I can't wait to see them soon.

So excited to see them nominated for a Grammy-we saw them play 2 years ago at Georgia Tech with Cherryholmes, and they were fantastic! Congratulations and Best of Luck, guys!

Whoa. Looking through iTunes, sometimes everything in a category starts to sound the same. This one took me by surprise, in the most wonderful way. Fabulous musicality, deep expression, foot-stamping fun - They do something no one else does, and do it well. I love the bold pride in the history, the reveling in the beautiful heritage. It gives me chills. Keep rolling, CCD! I hope you read reviews. I adore you guys.

Easily the best performance witnessed at Saturday's Hardly Strictly Bluegrass...also the only act resembling anything close to bluegrass. They even switched up their instruments all NC style.
