Jimmy Page, The Beatles, Joe Cocker, 1969 Just by the dang album. No doubt a masterpiece.
  • an amazing voice to inspire

I never liked the Wonder Years (Kevin was such a jerk), and Jimmy Page doesn't impress me much. He's just another guitar guy, and if I'm looking for impressive guitar I'll listen to Jimi Hendrix. I listen to Joe Cocker because he has a voice unlike any other I have ever heard. His songs show a range of emotion and revelation that is all but gone. One of the few amazing talents that managed to survive past the sixties. An amazing talent that we should be thankful to have. Put down the Justin Beiber or whatever and buy the really good stuff

  • Excellent album

First off, this album is awesome. Second, Jimmy Page plays on several songs. I have the vinyl album and he's listed under 5 songs. Biggest reason why I got it. And if you think Joe Cocker is an impersonator, you try it and see if you're that good. He's got an incredible voice and talent. You know nothing of good music. Buy this album, it's worth the $.

I recently picked up this album from my Dad, and think it is amazing. All the tracks are incredible. What amazes me about Joe is the fact he is one of a few artists who is able to bring me to tears. I believe all the tracks are incredible, but "Friends" moves through my spirit like no other. "Blackbird" and "Feelin' Alright" are also amazing. Joe's voice is highly distinct-he is one of a kind.

this guy just did poor imitations in his career he is not a good rockstar and should never be consider one. He never played any of his own music and in my eyes that makes him a plain wannabe.

Powerful album. Admittedly I don't know much about the guy, and was introduced as most from my generation were by none other than "The Wonder Years", but its a great joy to listen to each of these tracks.
  • Mr. Joe Cocker

hey kiddies,I was there and Jimmy Page is playing lead on Bye Bye Blackbird.I saw Joe at the Filmore east at least six times and he was spectacular. Far and away the best.

Jimmy did not play on this album, he played on the "With a Little Help from my friends" single, and I am not sure if that is the same song, but the album "Joe Cocker"is the one he played on completely.
