This a great series; entertaining and interesting. Urban legends are always an interesting topic of conversation and this sheds some light on a few that I've always been curious about!
  • Misleading - can I get my money back

    By Not about Urban Legends
It wasn't really about Urban Myths and Legends, that's just the hook. The intro is good and actually about urban legends. After that it quickly spins into a couple of news pieces that have little to do with urban legends and more to do with politics, immigration, the excesses of life in America, and one other story (I was so disgusted I turned it off). So make your own choice, but be warned, this is not about True Urban Legends.
  • Ira Glass at his best.

This is one of my favorite episodes of This American Life. I love the story on Mt. Pleasant High School. Ira Glass searches for truth and, in this journey, shows listeners how far some will go for politics. Unfortunately Steve Poizner exploited these students, but fortunately, Glass has discovered this. ONLY DOWNSIDE: It isn't free. What happened to FREE podcasts itunes?
