This album is absolutely amazing. The sound quality is spot on and you can feel Bob's energy throughout the album. War/No More Trouble gives me goosebumps and this particluar live version is incredibly powerful. Great to hear the I Threes as well, Rita and the gang are harmonious to say the least. Every Marley fan should own this album!!! Thank you Bob

was at this concert and still have tic stub to proove it. but this is not the concertas the people heard it .No crowd noise no nothing . First thing Bob did when they came out was light up a spliff and the people went wild. they closed the doors into the theatre room and everybody was striking up and passing joints down the rows.much noise much fun MUCH MUSIC. this joint way to quiet to be real

I wonder if people realise this is Bob Marley’s last concert. He was already a very, very sick man at this stage and you can sadly hear it in his voice. Just prior to this show, he had collapsed in New York while jogging and was basically given a death sentence. Rita Marley was later interviewed saying that pretty much everyone knew this would be the last time they would perform together. I personally love this show.
  • Must Have Because Concert Great, But CD Sound Quality Not What I Hoped For

Like others, I had the bootleg tape of this show, and its incredible "Redemption Song." Listening to that song from the box set this morning, I decided to pick this up finally. The vocals on the "Redemption Song" that are played when you sample before purchase are not the same as on the concert recording. There is a clarity to them that is not on the CD. Also, the right channel seems to be favored heavily. Though I waited a long time to buy, it is still a must have, especially if you did not have the tape that was circulating for years. The fact that there is virtually no other reggae musician whose name is a household name around the world is his own living legacy: when he died way too young, he pretty much took the music with him.

great album. it just seems that the sound is not the best quality compared to the 2nd cd on Rastaman Vibration (Live)
