Reviews

  • Good, but Songs Don’t Loop

I really like this album. The “fast and vigorous” track sounds like aliens, but for some reason that soothes my baby. To go to sleep and to stay asleep, the strong hair dryer is a good track. I like the rain track for myself, but it doesn’t seem to do anything for the baby (maybe when she is older?). As other reviewers have pointed out, the flaw with this album is that it does not do a continuous loop and the period of silence between the repeated songs can wake up the baby. Even with that flaw, the album still pretty good and worth the money. We also have the White! Noise album, which also has a few good tracks.
  • Miracle for a fussy/colicky baby

I wish that I had known about this sooner. For the first six weeks of my son's life, no one was getting any sleep and he cried constantly. We tried every colic remedy but nothing was working, then we read an article about the "Happiest Baby on the Block." I quickly downloaded the white noise album from iTunes. This has made our household a happy environment. My husband and I are actually getting sleep now and most importantly our son is able to calm down quickly and rest as well. Best $10 that I ever spent!
  • Song do NOT loop!

These tracks are not loopable. They fade in and out. So if you play it on repeat, then the sound will periodically fade to zero and then back up again. That wakes up my baby, making the whole album kind of useless. Not recommended. There are also some annoying thumping noises and other flaws in some of the files.

  • Strong Hair Dryer is Good BUT ...

... all tracks fade up and fade out so if I put it on repeat while my baby is sleeping it ends after 8 minutes. Thus waking up the baby. Needs to be loopable. Otherwise, the sound itself is great at calming crying and putting her to sleep until it ends ....
  • Great for peaceful, sound sleep!

Rain (#6) is my favorite - perfect for baby, 2 year old, and Mom too.
