The Xanax Story alone is enough of a reason to buy this. One of the funniest pieces of stand up I have ever seen. John Mulaney is absolutely hilarious.

I believe this is his second album and both are very funny. Another good writer/comedian... look for his first, The Top Part.
  • Hysterical!!

I came across this guy by accident and became an instant fan! He is genuinely funny and, as another reviewer said, has a fantastic personality! I could listen to him all day long - pure comedy!

John Mulaney is a relatable comedian for many reasons. He turns real-life madness--early onset alcoholism, dabbling in prescription fraud, and belligerent homeless teenagers, for a start--into gut-busting, eye-opening segments. He also manages to engage in "playful anti-Semitism" and the "Law & Order: SVU" fandom in a way that reminds you that you, too, have the same guilty pleasures. I can't recommend this album enough.

One of the best comedians I've heard, and this album is fantastic. Witty and sharp but not crude or mean. He's got great anectdotal stories. Seems like a nice guy and is just a lot of fun to listen to. I'll definitely be looking for him if he tours in my area. "The One Thing You Can't Replace" and "Xanax Story" are epic standouts. Not to mention how he feels about that show Law and Order...
  • Not as Great as The Top Part

I recommend you buy The Top Part before this one, because it is a lot funnier. Then, if you enjoy his style, you should buy this one!
