  • Beautiful simplicity

The artistry of Bonney, that beautiful, clear and confident voice is stunning. Ideally, a song should be poetry set to music, and you feel that in this album. Every word is understood, and so nuanced as to enhance the beauty of the poetry and her voice. The artistry of the guitar/lute matches her as well. It too, has the artistic, nuanced playing. One of my favorite albums.

This album is great!! Bonney sings beautifully and with so much lovely phrasing it's ridiculous(in a good way). Her crisp English language is so easy to understand but doesn't sound obnoxious. Plus she has a great sense of humor on many tracks. The instrumentalists are tight and mellow but with plenty of energy. It's just great...get it now...do it:)
