The beginning of the end ...
I was excited as hell in seventh grade to grab up this record, because I loved the previous three -- "Dawn Patrol," "Seven Wishes" and especially "Midnight Madness" -- but I think at this point, NR was trying too hard to jump into the pop/metal, Bon Jovi kind of exposure with ballads and stuff ... and this record failed miserably.
Too many keyboards, and the supposed "big" single, "The Secret of My Success," is as mediocre as the film for which it was written. Terrible song. This whole record was not a rcoker like the previous three. Very disappointing.
Best tracks: "Color of Your Smile," "Rain Comes Crashing Down," "Hearts Away," the weird title track, and that's about it. I love Night Ranger, but not this record.
