Fight fire with fire is basically the older brother of “Battery”. Energetic, fast and pure thrash. Ride the lightning is a unexpected track from the leaders of thrash. It did not stop me though. This song is very much awesome to listen to For whom the bell tolls is a aggressive thrash track with the greatest bass intro of all time. A well known thrash track, for a good reason Fade to Black I heard from friends that this was a ballad. Which made me confused. But after listening to this, I ended up in tears. It is EASILY the best Metallica song ever written. It has something that no thrash metal song at this time had. And that was the emotion it exploded at me while I listened to this for the first time.
