  • Not As Stellar as his A&M output, but good latin jazz/pop

    By Jazzbreaux
Sergio Mendes has always been a brilliant arranger. This is evident on this release. Bridges, Waters Of March and That's Enough For Me, enticed me to buy this back then. I can always find genius in one of Sergio's releases although lately his fascination with blending hip hop and latin rhythms is tedious and, to me, uninspired.
  • Light Latin Jazz

I remember buying this album after years of listening to old Sergio Mendes songs. On a car drive recently "The Look of Love" came on the radio and my friend commented on the women's voice being so sensual, and I said to him I listened to alot of Sergio Mendes back in day, and remembered I knew this album note for note and word for word. Needless to say I had to download it the next morning, what great memories.
  • Growing Up with the Love songs of Sergio Mendes

    By DJ Darkshadow
The sounds of this music are what life brings to mind; thoughts of love, heartache, the joy of living in a time when things were earlier, and falling in love as a teenager was so sweet. Sergio Mendes's Brazilian sound and words of love are a must to hear. Specially " Never gonna let you go" from another album and "Life Goes On" from this one.
