  • Greatest Band Of All Time

    By LargelyPolitical
Simply awesome, especially the new versions that weren't released - really, really good - it is like hearing Zeppelin do a cover for Zeppelin - ueah, amazing!! There isn't a lot to say about this release, it is incredible especially if you are Zep Head (like me). In terms of the quality, it is really good, so much so that I can pick up the subtle difference between the original release and this one. Highly recommend purchasing this "album/CD/digitall", it is incredible to hear alternative voicings to some of the greatest music ever created - Whole Lotta Love is just one of many. Would make a great gift, especially to a younger person that may not have been exposed to Zeppelin. can you imagine "discovering" Let Zeppelin? I was 12 when I heard Babe, I'm Gonna Leav You and that was it for me. I'm 56 now and still listen to Zep and or BadCo practically everyday on the ride to/from work!
  • Brilliant Remasters, Fascinating Artifacts

I love all of these deluxe editions. The remastering is absolutely fantastic; it sounds like you are actually standing in the studio during the sessions. I am hearing so many new details I had never heard before from the older CDs. The bonus tracks are fascinating artifacts of these great songs that hardcore Zep fans will love; they give you a new perspective on the songs.
  • Zeppelin joins the loudness wars

OK obviously this is one of the greatest Rock N Roll albums of all time. Here is the problem, it doesn’t sound as good. Blah blah I know MP3,s sound like crap, but this sounds worse. I’ve got other Zep albums ripped to MP3 and they don’t sound like this. The whole remastered for ITunes thing has pushed the levels over the top. The original was an incredibly clear recording and a marvel for the time considering it was recorded on 8 tracks. But now with this version it has become distorted jumbled mess. If you want the deluxe version for the extra tracks buy the hard copy.

...in God's name does this have a 4/5 star rating??? Are you people drunk?
  • Backing Tracks

I really liked the backing track for Thank You and wish you could get that for every other song on the album. Leaving the vocals out draws more attention to the greatness of the arrangements and melodies.
  • Poor

These editions are very poor!! No good extra trcks, no video, no booklet!!! no iTunes LP… Useless, only for to steal money at fans! Go home Jimmy Page!

  • Wasp says its good!

This is one of my favorite albums of all time! It's flawless, but the second disc umm...Not so great La La's good but that's all I like. So you should go check it out your self and see what you think.

  • Not such a much

If you don't have this already, buy it. But the "remastered" stuff sounds no different to me. And the bonus disc is interesting at best; the original album holds up because it's good. So you should start seeing the original CDs show up used at your favorite brick n mortar record store.
