love them but
too many sound the same
Every song is worth continual listens! The only thing that stops this from being their #1 album is how hot fallen was and still is..it’s debatable which one is #1 both are amazing though!!
Her voice is incredible
Amy Lee has helped me through every single breakup I’ve ever had. She has soul In her voice and I have been a fan since the beginning. This album just rocks and is one of my favorites.
Middle School Flashbacks
As a giant fan of Evanescence, this album really brought me back to when I was in middle school with its hardcore tones and harmonic vibes. This album set the cornerstone for Evanescence, setting forth their career and launching it into action, even after Fallen and Open Door. I applaud you Evanescence. Keep up the amazing work. ( ・∇・)
I'll be honest Fallen was my favorite Evanescence album but this album isn't that far away. Every song is pretty cool. What I have always liked about this band is that they have lyrics that actually mean something. Now a days we just have trashy pop that people call music. Ugh! If you like actual music try this stuff out!
Great Album but this was release in October 7, 2011 NOT January 1?
Evanescence are one of the most spectacular artist ever known also I know all their songs that they ever made since 1995 and also again iTunes please put the right releases this album was released in October 7 2011
Amy, Amy, you flunked on this album. I like most of the songs but the ones I dislike are just horrid. The lyrics are superb as always but the sound is just icky on about 5 of the songs. I dislike:
--End of the Dream
--Say you Will
However, I love the other side and My heart is broken; good sound AND lyrics there. ;) I won't give up on you Amy but this album was not your shining best.
Why did I waste money on this
If you've heard one Evanescence album you're heard them all. If I had never heard her before I would have given her more stars, but this whole band just hasn't grown since Fallen (2003).
Ok, quick revised review.
I originally thought this album was OK, but thought it fell short of typical Evanescence standards. After listening to it again, however, I thought this was actually a pretty good album. Still doesn't live up to their past two albums, but it is still worth buying if you're an Evanescence fan!
Favorites: All of them! (Except for End of the Dream, Never Go Back, Swimming Home, Say You Will, and Disappear.)
My favorite album from them
Usually bands write good albums and then decline over the years. Evanescence never did that. They have the talent and brains to move forward with great songs. Lost in Paradise? Masterpiece. The Change? My Heart is Broken? Just amazing work.
