Reviews

  • Their prior material is the best

Peppers were originally and played their best when they had a fusion of three genres - punk rock , funk, and hip Hop. Although they still have hip hop and funk they matured and evolved into writing alternative rock rather than punk rock songs. The result is they lost their intensity and young ambitious sound . It was a necessary change the band to be taken more seriously in the music world and they are being honest with themselves becoming adults . But honestly how often are you going to rock out to songs on here? Most of them don’t even rock are laid band alternative pop songs compared to their prior material.

Love rhcp best band out here! Next favorite band: System of a Down. Rhcp is better though.
  • Greatest album of all time.

The choice of encore and the exclusion of “Sikamikanico” a “Soul To Squeeze” was a questionable decision to an otherwise flawless album. Not kid friendly so beware!

This is by far RHCP best album and its not even close. It is probably one the top 3 albums of the 90s. It's got a great blend of funk and rock without having many filler songs.

Best Peppers album, no question. It’s the non radio played songs that are the best too! I Could Have Lied, Mellowship Slinky, My Lovely Man and Sir Psycho Sexy are my favorites on the album. ❤️

I think this was them at their best. They are one of my favorite bands of all time, and my friend is a rap fan, this is probably the only not rap that they like.
