  • Smooth As Silk

The combination of the awesome voice of the unbeatable Raul Malo and the wonderul instrumentation of The Mavericks is like a little piece of Heaven! I love this group and have for years. Keep up the good work boys!!
  • Fantastic Follow-up to In Time!

    By Diane Sparkles
When the band released In Time I thought it was the best ever and couldn't be topped and yet Mono finds a way to match, if not exceed it. The songs are terrific, the arrangements are fantastic, and it sure does make you want to dance! I love how they mixed in some songs with a classic country feel, like Pardon Me, in with the up tempo dance songs we know and love. Congratulations, The Mavericks, you have done it again!
  • Spot on

Saw them in concert last night and was blown away, had to get this right away so that I have all their music.
  • This music is ALIVE!

    By David The Elder
My wife and I never miss a Maverick's show. They play to packed houses wherever they go. These guy have so much fun performing every time feels like the first time. Raul Malo has the most incredible voice and range since Roy Orbison. The arrangements are sensational. They travel with a sax, trumpet, drums, accordion, stand up bass, keyboard wiz and one of the most interesting and exciting lead guitar guys, Eddie Perez, you'll ever see on stage. We can't get enough of The Mavericks. A major LA Times reviewer picked "In Time" as the best album of 2014. So where are the nominations? Why aren't they playing the Grammies? Because they're different and true to themselves. What does that say about the music business?
  • Love The Mavericks

    By Raul Fan #1
Raul is my very favorite singer and love the band and their style of music. You can listen all day and never tire of them! Their sound is fun unique and makes you happy!
  • One of the most underrated bands in business

    By OP Miami
I will admit that I enjoy the many of the popular country acts, but these guys are in a league of their own. No one sounds like Raul, and quite frankly, one of the best voices around and the bands sounds terrific together. For any fan of any music genre, they are well worth checking out.
  • The Mavericks live up to their name

    By SunnyG8s
Merriam Webster defines a maverick as "an independent individual who does not go along with a group or party.” Everyone is so busy trying to categorize the Mavericks’ sound - what pre-defined genre is it? .. STOP IT and just enjoy the music! They are their own genre. And this album is another testimony to their talent and individuality in a music industry that has become far to rote.
  • Just the Best!

    By Nosegood Music
Raul without the Mavericks is OK but it's like pizza without beer or a cream pie without a face to throw it in. There seems to be a certain magic when he's writing, singing lead, and they're all playing together. His voice just keeps getting better and better. It's just too bad that music has to be pigeonholed for whatever reason. Reviewer BZGringo calls it "Cuban Big Band". Whatever it is I love it.
  • Fun time with the Mavericks!

Looking forward to the tour! Love them on record and lucky enough to see them again and again. Viva the Mavericks!!
