  • Best album ever

2 years later and this album is still my favorite of all time. God has shown me a lot through these songs.
  • Change is great.

I really love this album. I think Hillsong United is doing a great and brave thing by trying something new. Expecting them to stagnate in their sound isn't totally fair.. After all, they are artists too. They write worship music, but who ever said that has to look the same way all the time? God asked us to sing a new song to Him. And I think United is doing a great job of evolving and reaching people who would probably not be reached if they had the same sound. And as a musician, I can tell you that all the synth sounds are most definitely not easy to pull off. It takes much work. It may not be your cup of tea, and that's fine, there are a million and one other expressions of worship that may "suit" you. But when did worship ever become about "suiting" you?
  • One of the best albums

So many good ones on here. Really digging the whole stripes concept even at the concert carried through very well! 🙌🏻

These are the only Christian songs these days that actually HAVE meaning.

All of your albums have been amazing, but this!! This album is so so good. This is chicken soup for the Christian soul and it just fills you up sooo good. This is meant as a praise album. So you can't sing these on Sunday morning/afternoon church, but that's what Hillsong Worship is for. THIS is Hillsong United. The lyrics in all these songs are for people who don't know much about God, or who are becoming closer to God. The music is so amazing, it's electronic and on some songs, it's soft it definitely shows that Christians have a cool side to them haha. I love everything about this album - esp. the band itself, who has worked very hard to make it happen. I've loved Hillsong United ever since I was young. And you guys have definitely brought me closer to God through YOUR music and I thank you for being inspirational to those who need inspiration :)

This is a very different album from Hillsong, and can I tell you that they just keep it real and getting better. The matter what kind of style they play, it blesses the heart of man! Prince of Peace is one of the best songs I've ever heard, and I can't say enough about the rest, awesome!

  • This Is What Hillsong Wanted To Share....

I love Hillsong, I probably always will, but some people don't, and that's okay. I just want to address some of my thoughts from reading these comments. First of all, for all of the fans who are excited for Hillsong, cheers to you. It's good to be excited. There are after all, some really great, and powerful songs in this album. Second, this may not be the "upbeat", "hopeful" songs some Hillsong fans are accustomed to, and that's okay. It's good to change it up, and it's even better to go deeper into the spiritual world with slower, deeper songs. For people who miss the fast tempo, the positive lyrics, the pop aspect, and label some of these songs "emo poetry" or just poetry in general, this is the deeper side of things. You may not get into the songs at first, but go to a quite place, and listen to it, really listen to it. Feel the song. Close your eyes, feel the emotion. It's there, you just have to listen. Take "When I Gave My Heart To You", I was browsing this album for songs to buy, and when I came upon this particular one, I couldn't click the next. I physically couldn't. So I waited until the sample ended, and moved on, but it stuck with me. Everyday I listen to it. Third, all of their songs are spiritual. Some just more than others, and everyone has their own opinions of the levels, how certain sounds in the music can interfere with the connections, and that's ok. For some songs, you just drown out the "annoying" bits, or except them. Dig deep, and find the special meanings. I assure you, they are there. And Forth, To Hillsong, congrats - you have delivered yet another amazing, powerful album. I hope you keep on the route you want to go, the route God has for you. Keep on worshipping!
