Don't Blame the Beatles
Sony Currently owns the rights to the Beatles Music. Paul McCarteny is trying to get the rights back to his own music.50 years ago musicians did not always have ownership of their own music.
Why are you blaming the Beatles?
The Beatles had nothing to do with this movie. Paul McCartney wrote and sung the tune with some harmonies by John Lennon and George Harrison. He does NOT own the rights to his own composition any more (thanks to Sony and Michael Jackson). So to call it a "money grab" by a quartet of musicians who disbanded in 1969 and legally separated forty years ago is, to put it mildly, a bit uniformed. However, it is a beautiful song.
Great Song... Cool Perspective... but...
Not a super facinating buy in the era of dying music videos.
It is The Beatles
Who can complain, it is the bloody Beatles! Great song, fun video.
This is taken directly from the movie Yellow Submarine; 48 years old - nothing new here. If you really want this 2 minute video, do yourself a favor and buy the Blu Ray for $20 or better yet stream it and get all the songs. Really sorry the Beatles are grabbing at cash here
Eleanor Rigby was used as a transition piece and compressed (sped up a bit) in the movie.
It lacks the full Perter Maxx color treament of the rest of the movie.
Interesting thought as i watched this is; what we call GIF's today was cutting edge animation in 1968
Will always be one of my favorite songs and will always be one of my favorite scenes
ANother Money Grab
By Dont Do It
Another money grab from the Beatles. You've heard it before. It's a 50 year old song.
Taken from the movie
Nothing new here. Lifted directly from the movie. The animation clips really never matched up with the song anyway...
